Separate Yourself From Unhealthy Associations and Relationships

Relationships, associations, and friendships are by choice, and not by force. Therefore, consciously separate yourself from those relationships that negatively impact your life as curse causeless shall not come.

Proverbs 26:2. As the bird by wandering, as the swallow by flying, so the curse causeless shall not come. There are four classes of people in today’s passage you MUST separate yourself from such relationships. These are:

👉🏾1. The fools. Fools are individuals who do not have a good understanding of who they are, their potentials, opportunities, and privileges. They live as idiots who have no value for what is valuable. They are sometimes stupid in their decisions, actions, and behaviors.

👉🏾2. The sluggard or Slothful. These are individuals who waste life opportunities through laziness, procrastination, and excuses. They use excuses to cover their lack of passion, zeal, or commitment to make a positive difference.

👉🏾4. The deceitful. These are liars and false accusers who are experts in calling white black, and black white.Relationship

You should not have any of these relationships around you if you desire to make sustainable wealth. Also, do not be one of them if you desire to be respected by others and enjoy the favor of God and man.

Therefore, divorce yourself from them if you already have them in your circle. You need not justify your actions – just do it.

☑️Delete their numbers from your phone.
☑️Stop calling or visiting them.
☑️When they chat you up, ignore or respond with a single word.
☑️Discourage conversations and fellowships with them.
☑️Change your circle of friends.

In addition;

🎯2. Do not have a fool in your employment or team. Proverbs 26:6. He that sendeth a message by the hand of a fool cutteth off the feet, and drinketh damage. They will hurt your career and business.

🎯3. Do not invest in the fool as they hardly change. Proverbs 26:11. As a dog returneth to his vomit, so a fool returneth to his folly. You may be disappointed if you believe the fool will change.relationships

🎯4. Do not listen to the excuses of the slothful. Proverbs 26:13. The slothful man saith, There is a lion in the way; a lion is in the streets. The slothful will always find an excuse why they will not work or deliver as required. Do not listen to them. Find somebody else.

🎯5. Do not walk with the slothful, they are excellent time wasters. Proverbs 26:14-15. As the door turneth upon his hinges, so doth the slothful upon his bed. [15] The slothful hideth his hand in his bosom; it grieveth him to bring it again to his mouth. They also find it difficult to do even the simple things of life.

🎯6. Do not argue with the sluggard. Proverbs 26:16. The sluggard is wiser in his own conceit than seven men that can render a reason. They think they know it all. And never give up in an argument.

🎯7. Silence is the best response to a talebearer. Proverbs 26:20. Where no wood is, there the fire goeth out: so where there is no talebearer, the strife ceaseth.

✍🏼Learn to walk away from talebearers if you do not want strife as their words are hurtful and sometimes deadly. Proverbs 26:22. The words of a talebearer are as wounds, and they go down into the innermost parts of the belly.

Therefore, divorce yourself from these groups of people if you do not want to fall into the pit you dug by wrong associations. Proverbs 26:27. Whoso diggeth a pit shall fall therein: and he that rolleth a stone, it will return upon him.

Remember, according to Proverbs 26:28. A lying tongue hateth those that are afflicted by it; and a flattering mouth worketh ruin. Run for your life. Run now!!!
