Opportunities create wealth when maximized. Proverbs 12:27. The slothful man roasteth, not that which he took in hunting: but the substance of a diligent man is precious.
👉🏾Be not too slothful to miss opportunities when they come, or to allow opportunities to slip out of your hands. Bible Reading: Proverbs 12:1-28
Where you are today is a product of the opportunities you exploited and maximized in the past. You may never know the things you lost by not maximizing past opportunities.
The greatest harm you can do yourself is to miss life’s opportunities. So, see and maximize opportunities.
✍🏼If you have the opportunity to go to school, read and come out on top of your class.
✍🏼If you have the opportunity to learn a vocation, maximize it.
✍🏼If you have the opportunity to work, put in your best in it.
✍🏼If you have the opportunity to be in a relationship, do your very best to satisfy your partner.
Remember the following;
🎯1. There are opportunities in every instruction and counsel. Proverbs 12:1. Whoso loveth instruction loveth knowledge: but he that hateth reproof is brutish.
Be open to divine and human instructions. Listen. Learn. And run with them to live. Do not allow arrogance and pride to hinder you from listening to good advice and implementing them. Remember Naaman the leper!
🎯2. There are opportunities in being good. Proverbs 12:2. A good man obtaineth favor of the Lord: but a man of wicked devices will he condemn.
Life is not about you, but the lives you touch. Be good to yourself and to others to enjoy favor and open doors. You may never know what you miss by not helping others.
🎯3. Righteousness is an opportunity to live well on earth and make heaven at last. Proverbs 12:3. A man shall not be established by wickedness: but the root of the righteous shall not be moved.
Do not miss the opportunity of accepting Jesus Christ and becoming born again. There is no real-life outside Christ.
🎯4. To be married is an opportunity for a better life. Proverbs 12:4. A virtuous woman is a crown to her husband: but she that maketh ashamed is as rottenness in his bones.
Maximize the opportunity in marriage to live, rest, and make better impacts. 👉🏾Choose to pay the price for peace and prosperity.
🎯5. There are opportunities in your thoughts. Proverbs 12:5. The thoughts of the righteous are right: but the counsels of the wicked are deceit. So, think positively and think through things.
🎯6. There are opportunities for hard, smart work. Proverbs 12:11. He that tilleth his land shall be satisfied with bread: but he that followeth vain persons are void of understanding. So, till your ground.
Work hard and work smart to rule over poverty and want. Proverbs 12:24. The hand of the diligent shall bear rule: but the slothful shall be under tribute.
🎯7. There are opportunities in the words that you speak. Proverbs 12:14. A man shall be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth: and the recompense of a man’s hands shall be rendered unto him.
Therefore, think before you talk. You may be where you are today by the things you said yesterday. So, speak right.
👉🏾Be truthful and honest in your dealings with others. Proverbs 12:17. He that speaketh truth showeth forth righteousness: but false witness deceit.
👉🏾Speak graceful and wise words to others. Be careful not to hurt deliberately by your words. Proverbs 12:18. There is that speaketh like the piercings of a sword: but the tongue of the wise is health.
🎯8. There are opportunities in seeking peace and pursuing it with all men. Proverbs 12:20. Deceit is in the heart of them that imagine evil: but to the counselors of peace is joy. I know some people may be very difficult but still do your best.
🎯9. There are opportunities in being just and fair in your dealings with people. Proverbs 12:21. There shall no evil happen to the just: but the wicked shall be filled with mischief. If nothing else, it protects you from evil. Many have been killed by business partners they cheated. Be just and fair.
To see and maximize opportunities,
☑️1. Avoid the heaviness of the spirit, mind, and body. Proverbs 12:25. Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop: but a good word maketh it glad. Heaviness hinders vision and encumbers the mind. Free your mind.
☑️2. Avoid slothfulness and procrastination. Proverbs 12:27. The slothful man roasteth, not that which he took in hunting: but the substance of a diligent man is precious. Anything worth doing is worth doing now. So, do it.
☑️3. Accept the righteousness that is in Christ Jesus. Proverbs 12:28. In the way of righteousness is life, and in the pathway thereof there is no death. Wealth and riches are of and from God. So, take God seriously.
