There are 5 basic things that always deliver sustainable wealth. That you were rich or wealthy before, is not a current testimony. Bible Reading: Proverbs 13:1-25
So, wealth that cannot last the test of time is not what you should be aiming for. Proverbs 13:11. Wealth gotten by vanity shall be diminished: but he that gathereth by labor shall increase. Wealth from unsustainable systems like gambling, lottery, etc. does not last.
Rather, seek wealth you can leave for your children’s children. Proverbs 13:22. A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children’s children: and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just. This is what makes you a good man.
Leaving houses, cars, money in the bank for your children is not enough. Leave with them also the strategy to make wealth, good examples, and a good name. These are more enduring than material things.
What are the 5 wisdom factors that deliver enduring wealth?
🎯 1. Words. Your words matter because they deliver good and wealth to those that use them wisely.
👉🏾Your father’s WORDS are an inheritance that can completely secure your future. Proverbs 13:1. A wise son heareth his father’s instruction: but a scorner heareth not rebuke. Listen to the instructions of your heavenly and earthly fathers, and live by them.
👉🏾Your WORDS are gold mines of destiny. Proverbs 13:2. A man shall eat well by the fruit of his mouth: but the soul of the transgressors shall eat violence. What you say determines what comes to you. So, watch your words in times of danger and distress.
👉🏾Be deliberate about what you say, how you say it, where you say it, to who you say it, and when you say it.
🙏🏼When you are not sure, close your mouth and say nothing. Because according to Proverbs 13:3. He that keepeth his mouth keepeth his life: but he that openeth wide his lips shall have destruction.
🎯 2. Desire. To desire a better life of wealth and happiness is great. But desire without fulling the demands of your desires is destructive. Proverbs 13:4.
The soul of the sluggard desireth, and hath nothing: but the soul of the diligent shall be made fat. So, WORK your desires into reality.
👉🏾Do not just desire it – WORK it. Get up and work your desires out.
👉🏾Work righteously for generational blessings. Proverbs 13:6. Righteousness keepeth him that is upright in the way: but wickedness overthroweth the sinner.
👉🏾Work honestly for true riches. Proverbs 13:7. There is that maketh himself rich, yet hath nothing: there is that maketh himself poor, yet hath great riches.
👉🏾Work diligently into your riches. Proverbs 13:11. Wealth gotten by vanity shall be diminished: but he that gathereth by labor shall increase.
Remember that not working delays your desires and can actually destroy you. Proverbs 13:12. Hope deferred maketh the heart sick: but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life.
Therefore, desire right but work out your desires into realities. Because desire accomplished is sweet to the soul. Proverbs 13:19. The desire accomplished is sweet to the soul: but it is an abomination to fools to depart from evil.
🎯 3. Knowledge. It takes knowledge to know what to say, desire, and do. So, get knowledge and a good understanding of the how and why of things. Proverbs 13:15. Good understanding giveth favor: but the way of transgressors is hard. It delivers favor.
👉🏾Knowledge helps you respond to the issues of life prudently. Proverbs 13:16. Every prudent man dealeth with knowledge: but a fool layeth open his folly.
👉🏾Knowledge applied makes you faithful in stewardship that delivers health. Proverbs 13:17 A wicked messenger falleth into mischief: but a faithful ambassador is health.
Walk with the wise. Your life is a summation of the people you walk with, the books you read, the things you watch and hear, and the places you go. Walk with the wise physically and in social and electronic media.
Be a good judge of people before you decide to walk with them. Proverbs 13:23. But there is that is destroyed for want of judgment. Everyone cannot be close to you. Choose your companions wisely.
🎯 5. Corrections. Accept corrections. We all make mistakes but corrections are food to the wise. Proverbs 13:24. He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes.
Accept corrections from God, your parents, and mentors, employers, and peers. It takes love to pay attention. So, accept corrections with gratitude. Run your life with these 5 wisdom factors and build sustainable wealth.
Prayer. Lord help me to value words, desires, knowledge, associations and corrections. Be blessed. Stay blessed. 🙏🏼 ©️The Excellent Ministry 2021
