Don’t Be Afraid of Failure, is a Test of Your Capacity to Learn and Improve

Do not be afraid of failure, it is a test of your capacity to learn and improve, as it is a test of your capacity to learn and improve. Therefore, fail your way into success because failure is a necessary part of growth and advancement.

See failure as a vital part of the development. BIBLE READING: Proverbs 24:1-34

There is no success without failure. To walk, you failed several times. To ride a bike, you failed several times. To make an A, you failed some topics because an 80% PassMark means you failed 20%.

Recognize that you are not a failure because you failed, you are a failure because you failed to learn from your failure.

Therefore, embrace failure as a vital component of growth and advancement. Even a just man fails. Proverbs 24:16. For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.

But he does not stay there – he rises. You may fail several times, but keep rising and rising and rising.

πŸ‘‰πŸΎYou may fail in relationship and marriage – but rise and try again.
πŸ‘‰πŸΎYou may fail in your finances and career – rise and try again.
πŸ‘‰πŸΎYou may fail with your children, rise and try again.
πŸ‘‰πŸΎYou may fail in your spirituality, rise and try again.

Failure is just a test and you must pass the test of failure to succeed in life. Do not fear failure, rather use failure to learn ways that did not work, and move on.

What must you do to rise above failure?

🎯1. Do not join the company of failures. Proverbs 24:1 _Be not thou envious against evil men, neither desire to be with them. You are an average of the five people closest to you. If you have 5 millionaire friends, you will be the sixth.

But, if you have 5 wicked or evil friends, you will be the sixth. Do not envy the wicked or desire to be with them.

🎯2. Get knowledge of what you want to do, meditate to understand how to apply the knowledge, and do it. Proverbs 24:3-4. Through wisdom is a house built, and by understanding it is established:

[4] And by knowledge shall the chambers be filled with all precious and pleasant riches. It takes knowledge, understanding, and wisdom to minimize failures in the things you do.

πŸ‘‰πŸΎWisdom and knowledge give strength to succeed. Proverbs 24:5. A wise man is strong; yea, a man of knowledge increaseth strength.

🎯3. Seek and obtain wise counsel from those who have what you need. Proverbs 24:6. For by wise counsel thou shalt make thy war: and in a multitude of counselors, there is safety. Wise counsel applied will minimize failures and shorten your learning curve.

🎯4. Expect and build capacity to overcome adversities. Proverbs 24:10. If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small. Build physical, mental, emotional, and intellectual capacities to overcome adversities.

🎯5. Create a strong expectation and work to achieve it. Proverbs 24:14. So shall the knowledge of wisdom be unto thy soul: when thou hast found it, then there shall be a reward, and thy expectation shall not be cut off.

Please recognize that expectations do not just come to pass, we work them into reality. So, have an expectation and by wisdom, work it into reality for the rewards.

🎯6. Do not rejoice at the failure of others. Proverbs 24:17. Rejoice not when thine enemy falleth, and let not thine heart be glad when he stumbleth: Failures are part of life and everyone has their time and turns with failure.

So, when someone fails, rather than laugh, LEARN. Learn from their adversities, challenges, mistakes and missteps. Learn, don’t laugh!!!

🎯7. Fear God and have faith in Him. Proverbs 24:21. My son, fear thou the Lord and the king: and meddle not with them that are given to change: Partner with God for the change you desire in life, marriage, finances, and career.

🎯8. Prepare for the future you desire and/or expect. Proverbs 24:27. Prepare thy work without, and make it fit for thyself in the field, and afterward build thine house. Preparations prevent poor performances. Therefore, prepare, make it fit for yourself and then build the life you want.

🎯9. Remove the weeds and break up the fallow grounds. Proverbs 24:31. And, lo, it was all grown over with thorns, and nettles had covered the face thereof, and the stone wall thereof was broken down.

Take away the little things that spoil the vines. Weed away the doubts, laziness, procrastination, and fears that hinder you from making a difference.

🎯10. Sleep appropriately. Proverbs 24:33-34. Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep: [34] So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth; and thy want as an armed man.

Do not allow too much sleep to rob you of your glorious future. Yes, you need sleep. But sleep only after you have worked hard.

You are allowed to fail, even several times; but rise and try again as failure is part of the journey. Prayer. Lord, help me to pass the test of failure to succeed. Be blessed. Stay blessed. πŸ™πŸΌ
