It takes a good strategy to enjoy sustainable progress, success, and increase in every area of life including wealth. Bible Reading: Proverbs 19:1-18
✍🏼Are you a student, develop a strategy that will help you successfully finish your program and with the best results. Even if you have financial challenges, develop a strategy that will help you make an income that will offset your school cost.
✍🏼Are you a businessman or woman, develop a strategy that will turn your local business into a global business. Even if your beginning may be small, develop a strategy that will transform your business into a global enterprise.
✍🏼Are you a musician, painter, teacher, trader, minister, farmer, artisan, professional, etc? Develop a strategy that will take you from where you are to where you ought to be.
To be successful, your strategy must be based on:
👉🏾1. A good idea – A good idea comes from God.
👉🏾2. Goal – Have big, hairy, audacious goals.
👉🏾3. SMART objectives. You must turn the goals into simple, measurable, achievable, realistic, and time-bound objectives.
👉🏾4. Activities. Based on the objectives, identify what you must do to achieve your objectives. This may include smarter and passionate engagement.
In developing your activities, remember the following.
🎯1. Build Identify what you need to do to build your career, your business, and your dream. Proverbs 9:1. Wisdom hath built her house, she hath hewn out her seven pillars:
Start somewhere. Lay the foundations, commence the process. Wake up and start somewhere. Are you a tenant, it is time to build your own house, office, or business. Build.
🎯2. Kill the “beast” of procrastination: Proverbs 9:2. She hath killed her beasts; she hath mingled her wine; she hath also furnished her table. Kill whatever will stop you from doing what is needed to build your destiny, career, education, finances.
👉🏾Kill laziness and slothfulness.
👉🏾Kill too much sleep and time-wasting.
👉🏾Kill fear and lack of belief in self.
👉🏾Kill self-deceit and lies
👉🏾Kill wrong attitude and character.
👉🏾Kill wrong relationships and associations that hinder your progress.
🎯3. Build healthy partnership/s. Proverbs 9:3. She hath sent forth her maidens: she crieth upon the highest places of the city. There is a lot you can do alone. But there is much more you can achieve in partnership with others.
No matter how powerful you are, you cannot be at two places at the same time.
👉🏾No matter how skilled you are, there are skills you need to succeed.
👉🏾No matter how wealthy you are, you may need other resources you do not have to make a mark.
So, build healthy partnerships. And in doing this, manage your risks with wisdom and skills.
🎯4. Beware of free things. Proverbs 9:5. Come, eat of my bread, and drink of the wine which I have mingled. Beware of the wide gates that lead to destruction. If it is free and easy, it may be a gateway to destruction. So, beware.
🎯5. Forsake everyone and everything that is foolish. Proverbs 9:6. Forsake the foolish, and live, and go in the way of understanding.
Forsake the desire for quick success, shortcuts, and earthly wisdom. Forsake desire to hurt others, kill others, and destroy others to succeed. Forsake evil and whatever it carries.
🎯6. Choose your fights wisely. Proverbs 9:7-9. He that reproveth a scorner getteth to himself shame: and he that rebuketh a wicked man getteth himself a blot… Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a just man, and he will increase in learning. There are people to confront and correct, and there are those to leave alone.
🎯7. Work with God and partner with His word. Proverbs 9:10. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding. There is not much you can do without God and His word. So, draw nearer to God now.
🎯8. Avoid idleness of the mind, the hand, and the spirit. Proverbs 9:14. For she sitteth at the door of her house, on a seat in the high places of the city. Do what you find, until you find what you like. Do something always.
🎯9. Do not build on stolen things or wrong principles. Proverbs 9:17. Stolen waters are sweet, and bread eaten in secret is pleasant. It may look good initially, but it does not last.
👉🏾Wrong foundations and strategies result in untimely death.
Proverbs 9:18. But he knoweth not that the dead are there; and that her guests are in the depths of hell. Things built on the wrong foundation do not last. So, build with God.
Also, ensure you monitor and evaluate/appraise your progress and success. So, develop a successful strategy for the future you see. Prayer. Lord, help me to develop a functional strategy for wealth. Be blessed. Stay blessed. 🙏🏼 ©️The Excellent Ministry 2021
