God can do anything good for us as He is unlimited. However, our faith can limit God and prevent Him from doing what He would love to do for and to us. So, do not limit God with unbelief. Bible Reading: Isaiah 7:1-25
Let me start by saying that life has a partner called a challenge. You may be doing your own things and from nowhere tests and trials will come.
It happened before, it is still happening now. Isaiah 7:1. And it came to pass in the days of Ahaz the son of Jotham, the son of Uzziah, king of Judah, that Rezin the king of Syria, and Pekah the son of Remaliah, king of Israel, went up toward Jerusalem to war against it, but could not prevail against it.
You are either just coming out from a trial, passing through one, or about to enter one. That is life.
👉🏾We are programmed to be tested and tempted, but not defeated.
👉🏾It is normal to be challenged and tried, but not conquered.
No one is ever called an overcomer, testifies, or becomes triumphant without managing trials. So, have the right attitude towards every life’s trials, challenges, and temptations.
Understand that God has you covered. Hear Him this morning. Isaiah 7:7. Thus saith the Lord God, It shall not stand, neither shall it come to pass. No evil against you shall stand. And no negative thing concerning you and your family shall come to pass.
And here is the better news, the bad and evil that just came against you shall surely come to pass. Here are the things you must do to get fully established in peace, joy, health, and prosperity.
🎯1. Listen to, and obey the voice of God. God knows what you are going through and how you will come out of it. Isaiah 7:3 _Then said the Lord unto Isaiah, Go forth now to meet Ahaz, thou, and Shear-jashub thy son, at the end of the conduit of the upper pool in the highway of the fuller’s field;_ Be sensitive and attentive to the guiding voice of God. He knows where your testimonies are. Listen and obey.
🎯2. Strengthen yourself in the Lord. Take heed, fear not, and mind what you say. Isaiah 7:4 _And say unto him, Take heed, and be quiet; fear not, neither be fainthearted for the two tails of these smoking firebrands, for the fierce anger of Rezin with Syria, and of the son of Remaliah._
🎯3. Understand that there are people and systems that are not favorable to you. Isaiah 7:5 _Because Syria, Ephraim, and the son of Remaliah have taken evil counsel against thee, saying,_ This is life. You cannot please all. Some will even hate you without a cause or good reason.
👉🏾Some hate you because you are succeeding or making progress.
👉🏾Some hate you because you are healthy and alive.
👉🏾Some hate you because you are married and fruitful
👉🏾Some hate you because you have a job and can pay your bills.
No matter how hard you try, there will be those who will not like you – so, accept it.
🎯4. Believe in God almighty for your establishment. Isaiah 7:9 _And the head of Ephraim is Samaria, and the head of Samaria is Remaliah’s son. If ye will not believe, surely ye shall not be established._ Do not depend on yourself or limit God by your unbelief. If you will not believe that God has you covered, you may not break through. So, believe.
🎯5. Talk to God, pray and ask Him for a sign. Isaiah 7:11 _Ask thee a sign of the Lord thy God; ask it either in the depth or in the height above._ Pray. God answers prayers. Ask Him for a sign. God answers questions.
🎯6. Do not tempt God in your moments of trials. Isaiah 7:12 _But Ahaz said, I will not ask, neither will I tempt the Lord._ Do not try or put God to the test. You may end up regretting it.
🎯7. Do not weary God with your complaints, murmuring and nagging. Isaiah 7:13 _And he said, Hear ye now, O house of David; Is it a small thing for you to weary men, but will ye weary my God also?_ God is busy working. Tell Him what you want and give Him space to do it. No matter what you are going through, do not murmur or complain. Rather, reason with God in them.
🎯8. Look out for a sign from God. Isaiah 7:14 _Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel._ I have severally benefited from His signs. Look out for a sign. Recently I took a major step because He gave me a sign. Lookout. He will give you one.
🎯9. Refuse evil and choose well. Isaiah 7:15 _Butter and honey shall he eat, that he may know to refuse the evil and choose the good._ Do not allow what you are passing through to overcome you. Refuse evil and choose well.
I know there are issues, challenges and trials. They are normal and part of life. Do not lose your faith and believe because of what you are passing through – they shall come to pass. Isaiah 7:23 _And it shall come to pass in that day,_
Prayer. Lord help me to believe so as to be established. Be blessed. Stay blessed. 🙏🏼
